Purchased to use in a very wet work area, and the fit wasn't bad. The lower part of the shoe is well waterproofed, but the upper is less so. The lacing area around the tongue especially seems to hold moisture, which slowly leaks into the interior of the boot. Replaced this purchase with full rubber work boots.the tongue could be a little longer but overall a very comfortable boot.They are comfortable and well built. Haven’t had any holes or composite coming off after 3 months of hard use. Usually other boots start to show wear and tear at this point. From cement to roofing, they endure lots of environments. These boots saved me from a nail and a cinder block falling on my foot so far. Highly recommended if you work in any construction job or want value for the money.The boot was water proof but the toe box really bothered my little toe it touched right where the leather and the composite met didn't work for meLa puntera es pequeñaI had read several reviews while waiting for these to arrive. We take these always with skepticism, until we see the same themes througout.On putting on for the first time, it was clear the toe box of both were tight, but the right boot was a completely different shape than the left. More on this disaster later.Another review mentioned the impractical design of the eyelets. I saw this same on leaving for the first time. Why make the second to top eyelets vertical and made of a soft material, rather than the metal hooks every other eyelets are made of? Is impractical to use these, as they require threading through, everytime on donning and removing these, often in the dark and at 0400. Beyond this, in my line of work, these shoes can come home wet, and still be wet when i put them back on 5 hours later. So, thread a wet lace through a wet eyelet, in the dark, at 0400? No. Dry rot that happens too, these eyelets will be trashed in a month like the same eyelets on the last four pair of work shoes i used from this brand.After wearing them today, that right boot irregularity really became a problem. A toe on right foot, a middle toe, was crumpled so much I had to remove the boot at lunchtime and put on an old emergency pair of boots I keep in my office to finish second half of twelve hour day. The soft sketcher's foam sole I'm used to wasn't really even there.After a year of using Sketchers products for work, with accompanying reviews of these products i surely used beyond their intended use, I have to express my severe disappointment with this product, and cannot continue using products of this manufacturer. Time to find another.I used my wife's account to buy these because she has Prime and I don't .Anyway these boots were the perfect replacement for some Sears Craftsman branded steel toe boots that were good looking, but extremely uncomfortable. I originally ordered these a size larger because I was told you sometimes have to do this because you need more room for the steel / composite toe. Well that wasn't necessary because these boots fit well with just a touch of extra room. They feel more like a sturdy, water proof gym shoe rather than a boot and that's important as far as comfort goes. I run a gabarge recycling route with the city and these are so comfortable jumping on or off of the truck as well as when I walk or run along side it.My only issue is my concern for the non metallic lace holders which some reviewers have mentioned, but you may be able to get around this by lacing up the boots properly before placing laces in the final lace holders and tightening them before finally lacing them up.These are great boots and I plan on reordering as necessary.I use this boot mostly on the farm where muck boots are not practical or comfortable.These boots fit better than most in their price range.Pros: WARM and DRY. They are easy to slip into and the laces are set up nicely so they don't pinch my foot. The arch support is ok but quite minimal.Cons: The "non wide" width boot is a little loose on my foot and my foot does move around inside the boot when walking or working. The arch is minimal and could be a little higher.Overall I recommend this boot above others in it's class as I have worn some of those and they are less comfortable and not as warm or actually waterproof.están hechos con materiales de muy buena calidad por lo cual pensé que seria una buena compra y no fue así al usarlos se nota que la MARCA. no sabe fabricar BOTAS con casquillo o de protección lastiman mucho exactamente de la unión del casquillo, los pedí mucho mas grandes de lo normal por la misma razón pero no, lastiman mucho en Mexico se fabrican botas similares pero no con los mismo materiales, ni tan bonitos modelos pero si de comodidad absoluta no los recomiendo si piensan comprarlo y quieren comodidad estas botas no son las indicadas saludosC’est mes deuxième paire de bottes de travail de cette marque, légère,confortable prendre un point plus grand exemple 12 prendre 13,seul point négatif c’est les anneaux des lacets, les arrête son coupantes ,les lacets ne dure pas longtemps.
