Switched from dickies to these not disappointed last me about a year but even then only broke one seam on the sole just enough to let water in. Water tight, toe is solid and does not pinch my toes, I’ve stepped on nails and not gone all the way through. I beat the crap out of these boots! Make great hiking boots really light weight and comfy. Well worth the $$$I'm a professional framer. I spend a lot of time walking around, walking in trusses, scaling leaders, ect.. these are solid. If they disappoint just message Merrell they will take care of you. I was sent a free pair of boots after having slight material defects. I would absolutely recommendBest footwear I've ever purchased onlineI have worn Dr.Martens for years but they discontinued the "go to"work boots so I had to find something else. After trying many others I found these and am very happy with them. They are lightweight and have plenty of room for you toes to move around but offer support at the same time. The hold up to the demands a construction site has without showing wear. I will be buying these from now on.Of course since they are Merrell boots, I love them. However they need to update or clarify color. I was expecting a typical light brown boot like I've used since 2005-ish....and like the ad depicts.The boot that arrived is black as tar. LoL. It really feels weird looking down at them. I work on concrete, grass, and that 2-inch diameter rock that is on railroad tracks. So a fine, light colored dust all day long. These boots will look terrible after half a day. The normal brown boots kind of gets away with that type of dirt and debris, a black boot will have people asking why my shoes are so messed up and then the safety team will be on my case often asking where I was working, what was my task, show us your work area. LoL. Whatever...I'm paid by the hour I guess.But never would I choose a dark colored shoe. So beware::::: Multi really means BLACK!!!These are lightweight but they fit bigger than my other merrell hiking shoes , they run like a 1/2 size bigSize 11 was larger than other size 11 Merrell I have owned.Been wearing Merrell shoes for a long time. This is the first pair of composite safety toe by Merrell I've had. I work in landscaping and I'm on my feet at least 8 hours a day. Extremely durable, very comfortable and fit great.Estas botas merrel combinan lo mejor de dos mundos.
